The Tri-Chapter Outing is August 26, 2006 at Camelot Golf Course. Tee-times begin at 10:00 a.m. This is an 18 hole scramble event... all skill levels are welcome!! The cost is $50 and includes green fees, cart and lunch.

This event is open to members of the Fox-Cities/Green Bay Chapter, Fond du Lac Chapter and Milwaukee Chapter.

Important - All Members Should Mark Their Calendar!!!
Please mark your calendar to reserve the evening of Thursday, October 12th for the 2006 Annual Membership Meeting & Volunteer Recognition Dinner. ALL members should plan to attend. We will celebrate the conclusion of a very successful 2nd year for our chapter and formally thank those who have had a helping hand in making that happen. Don't miss this important and FUN gathering! Registration details will be available shortly.

Volunteer Opportunities Available - Just say "YES"!
Like all things in life you get back what you give...and as a volunteer organization our Chapter needs you! PLEASE say "YES" and GET INVOLVED by volunteering to serve (as a committee chair or member) on one of our nine chapter committees. No matter how much or little time you can give we will find just the right fit for you. Simply complete the "Interest Form" sent to you via email several times by Leadership Committee Chair, Carolyn Grady and indicate what volunteer opportunities you want to take advantage of. Shortly our chapter will be starting a new year (November 1st) so this is a TREMENDOUS opportunity to have input on developing plans for next year. League Jamboree
Sunday, September 17 at Mid Vallee Golf Course.
The jamboree will be for all EWGA leagues, clinics and subs. We will have a fun scramble golf event before the banquet - greens fees will be $14.75 (weekend golf rates).

The banquet dinner and awards are included in the league registration fees that were paid by full-time league members. Subs are encouraged to join us and will be responsible for dinner costs of $10.00.

Golf Scramble starts at 4:00 and dinner starts at 6:30....we hope to see you at both events!

Member Get a Member Program

As introduced in prior Chapter Chatters, the Fox Valley/Green Bay chapter is intr

oducing our own Member Get a Member campaign. The great part of it is that you do not have to do anything different from the national MGAM to join this. Simply make sure any of your referrals enter your name in the MGAM section of their application between July 17th and Sept 11th. The person that refers the most people (minimum of 5) will receive a free Premier membership. If people are unable to refer at least 5 people, the person with the highest amount of referrals will receive a complimentary spa package from Spa Ben Mar Nico. Keep doing what you're doing and earn fabulous prizes!

September Renewals
For those of you who joined from July-December of 2005, your membership is up for renewal. Renewal is easy! Simply log on to the 'Members Only' login using your chapter id and password. Once in, click on the 'Renewal Reminder' tab, choose your membership level, and pay with credit card. It's that easy! Those who renew by Sept 30th will be able to avoid needing to re-pay the initiation fee, so don't delay.

A Hole in One!

August 10, 2006 is a day that our own Cindy Sweetland will never forget. She was playing the Highlands course at Winagamie with the Level 2 league. As she stepped up to the tee box on #2, pulled out her 8 iron, and took her stance, she never thought that with that one swing she would become part of history, with a HOLE In ONE!
