EWGA Sunday Travel Group
Looking for a chance to explore different courses in a relaxed, casual setting? Then join us on one of our Sunday outings. We are scheduling Sunday morning tee times twice a month at various courses to give our members another chance to play and get together! Half of the dates will be members only, with the other half allowing for you to bring a guest. You can specify who you would like to golf with or pairings will be made based on skill level. We have registered for 9 holes but you are welcome to stay on for 18 if you choose. If you have a foursome that would like to play in a scramble format, you are welcome to do so. You don't need to register for all of the outings, pick the ones that work for you.

Our first Sunday outing of the season was a success. 15 ladies representing all skill levels enjoyed nine holes of non-competitive golf at High Cliff Golf Course followed by lunch at the course grill.  Congratulations to our hole prize winners: Dawn Jeffers (longest drive), Laura Kennin (closest to the pin & longest putt), and Carol Radtke
(closest to the big tree) Mark you calendars for our next outing: July 8 at Irish waters. Please note this outing is on Saturday to avoid conflicting with the Skills Challenge Clinic. See you on the 1st tee!

Member Info from the Association Headquarters
During the month of June, all current members have the chance to win a free golf vacation in Daytona Beach, FL. Members just need to be sure to have their name and member number on the application of the new members they recruit in June, and they will earn one entry in the vacation drawing for each new member who joins. In addition, one lucky new member recruited in June will win a golf resort package to Keystone Resort in Colorado – and their membership will be current through September 2007 (15 months of membership for the price of 12). Maybe you can recruit a new member who will take you with them on their trip!

Do You Have A Question?
The answer may already be at your fingertips. A new link has been added to the EWGA website with the answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that we receive at AHQ from members and non-members.

Check it out – the FAQ link is on the home page of www.ewga.com – and let us know if there are other questions you think will be helpful in responding to members and non-members. Send thoughts to mail@ewga.com.

Golf for Women (GFW) Subscriptions for EWGA Members – A Primer
A subscription to GFW is included with all EWGA memberships.

Each month the list of EWGA members who have joined/renewed in the prior month is forwarded to the publishing company for GFW (the same company publishes Golf Digest)

GFW is published six times a year (every other month). This means, of course, that if someone joins just as a magazine has gone to press or been mailed – they will not be added to the GFW database until the publication of the next magazine, which will not be printed for a couple of months.

As with any magazine subscription, you must contact them directly with any questions, address changes, etc. The GFW email and toll free number is in the front of every magazine: 800-374-7942 or www.golfforwomen.com.
