Chapter Championship/Players Choice
July 14, 2007 (Rain date July 15, 2007)

Be a part of the 2nd Annual Chapter Championship the largest, organized, women's amateur golf competition in the world! Compete against other members of your ability, in your flight or compete as a member of a scramble team.

Time: Tee times starting at 8:00am
Location of Event: Mid -Vallee Golf Course, De Pere, WI

Members Price: $95.00 ( includes $35 entry fee) 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, lunch, and door prizes!

Registration Deadline: June 25, 2007

All participants in the Chapter Championship MUST submit a completed and signed registration form and a GLMS or USGA handicap card or computer print-out.

Payment Options: You must pay online through EventBrite and complete and mail the registration form.

Refund Policy: The EWGA Championship Entry Fee will be refunded regardless of reason if the Chapter Championship Director is notified prior to the close of registration. After the close of registration, entry fees are not refundable. Check Chapter Policy for green fees refund.

2007 Players Choice
Play individually or put together a scramble team to play in a fun filled non-competitive atmosphere. This event is running concurrently with the Chapter Championship. This includes: 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, lunch, and door prizes!

It's YOUR turn to get involved…just say "YES"!

That's the word Leadership Chair, Amy Henselin and her committee members will be wanting to hear from you as they lead our chapter through the nominations and elections process to fill the upcoming expiring terms for some of our Chapter Officers (President, Vice President and Treasurer) and seek volunteers who are interested in being appointed to one of our Chapter Committees. All terms will start November 1st.

Officer Nominations/Elections
Be on the look out for separate email communications directly from Amy regarding this process. Here is the timetable we will be following (entire process conducted via email only):

June 1st - Distribution of Officer Nominations Form to all active EWGA members
June 15th - Deadline for members to return Nominations Form
July 15th - Ballot/Slate of Officer Candidates sent to all active EWGA members
July 31st - Deadline for members to return Ballots
August 15th - Results of election announced to members
October 11th - Annual Membership Meeting - Volunteer Recognition/Officer Installation
October 20th - Transitional Board Meeting
November 1st - Officers terms begin

Committee Volunteers
Due to rotating term limits, our Chapter has "open" Chair positions for the following committees: Communications, Golf Events, Sponsorship and Handicap. These positions are all two year terms. In addition, we are looking for a volunteer to fill the last year of the Social Events term. Volunteers are needed to fill these positions as well as in supporting roles. Most committees need 3-5 volunteers so there is plenty for everyone to be involved…all YOU need to do is say, "YES"!

Here is the following timetable we will be following for committee appointments:

July 15th - Distribution of Committee Interest Form to members via email
August 31st - Board approval of Committee Chairs
October 11th - Annual Membership Meeting - Volunteer Recognition/Officer Installation
October 20th - Transitional Board Meeting
November 1st - Officer terms start

Membership Recruitment Drawing

Take a friend to the Island….Amelia Island, that is. Every member who recruits new members from April 1 through June 30 will have a chance to win a fabulous stay-and-play prize at Amelia Island Plantation, Florida. The prize entitles two people to a 3-day, 2-night stay in an ocean view room with 1 round of golf each. Encourage a friend or colleague to join EWGA during the month of June. EWGA Members Receive 10% Discount at Golf Galaxy!

Yes, you don't have to wait for the next sale or flyer in the mail. Golf Galaxy offers our EWGA members a 10% discount all year long. It is good towards all merchandise in the store with the exception of items which are price protected. Examples of price protected items would be Ping clubs. Due to manufacturer limitations certain items may not be available for the discount. Just present your membership card at the time of check out and they will apply the discount. The discount cannot be combined with other promotions but they will take whichever discount works out as the best deal for you. Shop til ya drop ladies!

Refund Policy

There has been some confusion with the EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay refund policy. So we have included below for your review.

Unless otherwise noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event chair at least 5 days before the event date and the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay cancels the event, you will be notified and a full refund will be given.
