Score Tracking Program |
|
You will learn how to use the EWGA Score Tracking Program. Learn how to post scores so you can evaluate the parts of your game that need improvement. Just like the pros... you can track your scoring average, putts per round, greens in regulation, and more! As an added benefit, you will establish a USGA handicap.
Your EWGA membership includes this program. Similar services cost $29 per year. Each member will have their own computer at this hands-on learning session. If you have any scorecards from last season that you would like to post to your scoring record, please, feel free to bring them along.
When: May 30th from 6:30 - 8:00pm
Where: Maplewood Middle School, 1600 Midway Rd, Menasha (just south of 441)
Who: EWGA members - beginners to advanced
Cost: Free

2007 Golf Leagues |
There are still a few openings in the following leagues: Skill Level 2 at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah; Skill Level 3 at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah; Mixed Skill Level League at Highland Ridge Golf Course in De Pere; and Skill Level 5 at Mid-V allee Golf Course in De Pere. Don't miss out on the fun of golfing in a league-register now before they are full!! Registration for all leagues will close on May 11. Don't delay any longer!

Rules & Etiquette/Leagues Orientation Meeting & Scramble |
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 20th at noon, for a Rules & Etiquette and Leagues Orientation meeting, followed by an optional scramble. This meeting is free but golf is $15.59 paid day of event to Mid-Vallee. All members are encouraged to attend, whether or not you are signed up for a league. Attendance is required for league participation.
Rules & Etiquette - The more commonly encountered rules and etiquette topics will be covered.
Leagues Orientation - Information about all leagues will be reviewed.
Foursomes will consist of mixed skill levels. Hole prizes will be awarded.

- "Breaking 100" is focused on the group of golfers who are trying to score below 100 on a regular basis.
Winagamie - Register by May 10
Mr. Golf - Register by May 21
- Getting Started Program for New Golfers - "Getting Started" is aimed at non-golfers (no golf experience), new golfers (very little golf experience), and golfers returning to the game after a substantial absence. Register by May 21
- EWGA Skills Challenge - The goal of the EWGA Skills Challenge is to provide golfers of all levels with a fun way to improve their short games and ultimately improve their scores on the golf course. Register by June 1 -
- How Low Can You Go is focused on the group of golfers who can break 100 and now are striving to score better than bogey on a regular basis. Register by June 11

Join EWGA for a great happy hour event at Royal St Patrick's Golf Links on May 17. The evening will include drink specials, putting contests and free range balls to all EWGA members and guests. Reservations are required. RSVP by May 15 to assure your spot.

National Survey |
The 4th annual Member Satisfaction Survey has been sent to all EWGA members who were members as of March 31, 2007.
We ask that you participate in this survey. The reasons include:
- The greater the participation rate, the more valuable the results to both the Association and your Chapter
- The greater the participation rate of Chapter members, the greater our chances of winning a monetary award via the "Finders Keepers" Member Retention program.
The survey will close on May 22. |

Refund Policy |
|
There has been some confusion with the EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay refund policy. So we have included below for your review.
Unless otherwise noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event chair at least 5 days before the event date and the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay cancels the event, you will be notified and a full refund will be given.
