SKILLS CHALLENGE
Want to improve your short game??? We are extending the deadline for the Skills Challenge to May 17th. "Skills Challenge" provides golfers of all levels with a fun way to improve their short games and ultimately improve their scores on the golf course. It provides a structured, numerical way to represent a student's short game skills and to identify key areas for improvement. Go to our website for more information.

GETTING STARTED (New Golfer Program)
Getting Started” is a great program aimed at non-golfers (no golf experience), new golfers (very little golf experience), and golfers returning to the game after a substantial absence. The program should help you achieve the following objectives:

Provide an introduction to the game of golf
Provide an understanding of the basic terminology, rules & etiquette of golf
Teach the fundamentals for all five basic golf shots (full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, sand)

We are offering the program in both the Fox Cities, at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah, and in De Pere at Mr. Golf. Registration deadline is May 22nd. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT PROGRAM! Go to our website for more information.

EWGA Handicap Service Training
Maplewood Middle School - 6:30pm - 8:00pm - May 23rd
One of the benefits of your EWGA membership is the free, online Handicap service. We want to show you how to use this system to easily track your golf scores throughout the season. Whether you are an advanced golfer who wants to track Handicap for tournaments, or a new golfer who is just getting into the game - -having a Handicap can help you monitor your own progress throughout the year and throughout your lifetime. We encourage all of our members to get started with the Handicap system. This is a hands on demonstration, and all attendees will have a computer to work at. Items to bring with you: Score cards if you have any to post (if not, we will have a few sample cards to work with) EWGA member ID# and password (if you are unsure, we can help you that night.) Chapter Championship and Mock Championship

Mock Championship - June 24
Mid Vallee Golf Course
Do you want to be sure you are ready for the Chapter Championship? This will give you a chance to play the course and go over the rules for the Championship. We will validate that your handicap and registration information for submission for the Championship.
Rules Meeting at 9:00am * First tee time at approximately 10:30am
Greens and cart fees to be paid at the course.

Chapter Championship - July 15 (Rain date July 16)
Mid Valley Golf Course
Compete in the largest amateur tournament in the USA! Your first round will be played right here at one of our host courses, Mid Vallee Golf Course. You will be competing against members of our chapter (EWGA Fox Cities-Green Bay). Your chances of winning are GREAT! You will compete against other members of your ability, in your flight so it will be fair and fun! All EWGA Chapter members are WELCOME. Play individually or put together a SCRAMBLE team of 4 members.

Players Choice Golf Event - July 15 (Rain date July 16)
Mid Vallee Golf Course
The "Players Choice" golf event is an opportunity to share in the fun of the Chapter Championship. Members play golf, as individuals or as scramble teams for fun. After golf, enjoy a lunch, Chapter Championship award presentation, and a chance to win prizes!
