2007 Golf Leagues |
The fairways are starting to turn green and warm weather is making its way back to Wisconsin. Have you found your golf clubs yet? Have you been to the driving range yet? Most likely some of you have already played one or more rounds o f golf!!! And some of us haven't quite made the transition from winter to spring. But the most important question we need to ask each of you: Have you registered for an EWGA league for this summer?
Our leagues offer opportunities for all levels--from beginner to intermediate and advanced. We have also added two new locations this summer, and one of the courses is located in the DePere/Green Bay area. Our Chapter leagues start the week of June 1, but registration for all leagues will close on May 11. Don't delay any longer; we would like to see every member enjoy the fun, maybe a little bit of competition, friendship and experience of an EWGA golf league this summer.
A League Orientation and Rules & Etiquette Seminar will be held on Sunday, May 20, 12-1 PM at Mid-Vallee Golf Course. Attendance is required for all league members.
Review our updated EWGA Skill Levels Chart to select the most appropriate skill level and league for you.

Winagamie Golf Course - Beginner League (Skill Level 2) - Thursday evenings June 7 - August 30.
Winagamie Golf Course - Intermediate League (Skill Level 3) - Wednesday evenings June 6 - August 29.

If you cannot commit to a full-season schedule, we would love to have you as a sub. Register as a Sub.

Get Into The S.W.I.N.G. |
S.W.I.N.G. is a mentoring program available to all EWGA members and supported by our partners at Bette & Court and Wilson Golf.
In the S.W.I.N.G. program, experienced golfers team with newer golfers to help new golfers feel comfortable on the golf course. S.W.I.N.G. is what EWGA is all about-helping women enter the game of golf in a fun, supportive environment!
Interested in having a Mentor? The S.W.I.N.G. mentoring program offers an opportunity for a new golfer to have a "golfing buddy" to help make that transition from instruction to playing golf. This program is open to all member golfers, provided you've been through a basic level of golf instruction.
Interested in being a Mentor? Are you an experienced golfer who knows how to get around the golf course effectively, regardless of your golfing skill? A mentor is responsible for helping a new golfer get comfortable on the course and learn about basic rules, etiquette, pace of play and how to participate in EWGA!
Program runs from March 1 to September 30, 2007. Please see the Golf Education and Player Development page on www.ewga.com for more information or to register. |

Dust off your clubs and join us at Irish Waters for our first Weekend Travel of 2007!
The Weekend Travel Group is a casual group for members of all skill levels to join us on a Saturday or Sunday morning for 9 holes of golf and socializing. We will visit a different course each time to give our members a chance to play different venues. You don't need to sign-up for all weekend travel events, you can pick and choose which ones work for you. You can either tell us who you would like to be paired up with or we will pair you with a player of the same ability level.
