February 13 was a wonderful night for EWGA members to share the "snug" by the fireplace for the Happy Hour at St Brendan's Pub in Green Bay. Sharing Harp Lager, Guinness Stout and Bloody Marys coupled with stories of our funniest golf stories made for a delightful evening of laughter and
friendship.

Kickoff the golf season with a bang! Join EWGA for a presentation by Dirk Willis, PGA head professional at Whistling Straits. He will give us a behind the scenes look at planning major PGA events and will offer his look at trends in women's golf in America. We will also discuss golf leagues, clinics and competitive events planned for the 2007 golf season. Wine, appetizers, silent auction and door prizes will also be provided. We
will also have a trunk sale and fashion show to highlight new looks on the links this year. Guests are welcome. RSVP by Mar 16 - RSVP Today!

Models Needed

Talbots will be sponsoring our fashion show for the Spring Kickoff. We need 7 members to volunteer to model at the event. Models will have a personal fitting at the store and will get a discount for the clothes they model. The first seven members responding will be in. Please email socialevents@ewga-foxcities.com

EWGA Skills Challenge - The goal of the EWGA Skills Challenge is to provide golfers of all levels with a fun way to improve their short games and ultimately improve their scores on the golf course. It provides a structured, numerical way to represent a student's short game skills and to identify key areas for improvement.
Getting Started Program for New Golfers - "Getting Started" is aimed at non-golfers (no golf experience), new golfers (very little golf experience), and golfers returning to the game after a substantial absence.
"Breaking 100" is focused on the group of golfers who are trying to score below 100 on a regular basis.
How Low Can You Go is focused on the group of golfers who can break 100 and now are striving to score better than bogey on a regular basis.

Swing Solutions

On Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., Swing Solutions will be hosting the first ever Spring Training event at The Players Choice in Appleton. This event is your chance to train with the pros! Spring Training is an intensive golf clinic designed to improve any player’s game-whether experienced or beginner. The instructors will address all areas that influence performance through quality instruction and guidance from experienced professionals. Refund Policy

There has been some confusion with the EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay refund policy. So we have included below for your review.

Unless otherwise noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event chair at least 5 days before the event date and the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay cancels the event, you will be notified and a full refund will be given.
