Question:
What exercises will improve my flexibility before the upcoming season?
Answer:
The winter months are a great time to improve flexibility, which helps maintain swing pattern, speed, and prevent injury.
Golf fitness professionals can build a customized program for you because it is critical not to overstretch certain areas. Here are some stretches you can try:
1. Lunge + Rotation (Hip Flexors)
Kneel on your right knee with left leg forward. Hold a club with arms straight overhead. Rotate hips underneath you (“tuck your tail”) to feel a stretch in the front of the right leg. Then rotate your torso to the left 10 times. Repeat 3 sets each side.
2. Leg Drops (Hamstrings)
Lay on your back with both legs up in the air. Hold onto the right leg and lower a straight left leg until there is a stretch in the right leg. Raise left leg up and down ten times. Repeat 3 sets each leg.
3. Overhead Reach (Side)
Stand and hold club with arms straight overhead. Lean straight over to the right so that a stretch is felt throughout the left side of your body. Hold 3x10sec each side.

Bunko Wrap Up Bunko, a wild dice night!
A super night filled with lots of members, good food and great fun!
We had so much going on that the diners in the other room were ready to jump in!

Refund Policy |
| There has been some confusion with the EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay refund policy. So we have included below for your review.
Unless otherwise noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event chair at least 5 days before the event date and the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay cancels the event, you will be notified and a full refund will be given. |
