2009 "Dare to Lead, Dare to Grow" Annual Conference |
All EWGA members are invited to be part of the 2009 Annual Conference being held February 18-21, 2009 at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, CA. The conference will give you opportunities to golf in great weather, of course, but will also give you chances to enhance your leadership abilities, build your own personal or professional improvement plan, share in your successes and learn from others. The friendships that you either develop or continue at this event could be greatly satisfying and you won't know if you don't go!

In the November 14th Chapter Chatter announcement of the 2008-2009 board, Cyndee Sweetland, Social Chair, was inadvertently omitted. Cyndee is a crucial part of our board and it was a large omission! Cyndee, thanks for everything you do with the EWGA board! |

Business Bytes Huge Success |
The Grand Meridian was a great setting for the 5th Annual event.
The evening included a wonderful invitation from our new president to join the EWGA and all the great benefits the organization offers. Our Sponsor Chair, Dawn Jeffers, gave a wonderful testimonia l about her experiences with EWGA along with an almost tearful farewell with her move to Arizona. We’ll miss you, but we know you will keep in touch.
A wine presentation by Maria Milano from Parallel 44 followed. The group was full of conversation and laughter, which we are sure wasn’t caused by the wine.
Our feature speaker, Diane Roundy, MBA, and Director of Business Development, Schenck Business Solutions did a fabulous job on
“Effectively Working The Room: The Top 10 Habits of Turning Introductions Into Leads”. She offered great do’s and don’ts for networking. Diane discussed networking basics and addressed how to meet key people, hold lively conversations with strangers and obtain leads. Networking is such an important part of all our professional lives, wasn't it great for someone to show us how to do it right and with success?
One suggestion Diane made that you will see in upcoming social events is to list your business and position when you register so we can put it on your  name tag! A great way to start a conversation with someone is to ask about their company.

Refund Policy |
| There has been some confusion with the EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay refund policy. So we have included below for your review.
Unless otherwise noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event chair at least 5 days before the event date and the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay cancels the event, you will be notified and a full refund will be given. |
