Let's expand our horizons beyond golf! Why not give bowling a try! Dust off that bowling ball and bowling shoes and join other Chapter members for a fun afternoon of bowling and socializing at Super Bowl in Appleton. We will have fun, food and prizes! Cost is $15.00 and includes bowling, shoes and pizza!!

2005 MEMBER-GET-A-MEMBER RECRUITER OF THE YEAR
Karen Alesch, Fox Cities/Green Bay, WI Chapter

Congratulations to Karen Alesch, a member of the Fox Cities/Green Bay, WI Chapter for earning the title of 2005 Member-Get-A-Member Recruiter of the Year!

Since joining the EWGA fourteen months ago, Karen has worn many hats in getting the Fox Cities/Green Bay Chapter up and running.

Karen works for Innerworking, a technical training software company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Since she works from a remote office, membership in the EWGA has benefited her in many ways. She joined the EWGA after seeing an article about a new group trying to form a local Chapter in her area. It was on her initial phone call to Kristen Ujazdowski that she committed to being part of the founding group that kicked off this local EWGA Chapter. "A community of businesswomen who liked golf! What could be better!"

Karen recruited 34 members in 2005 and as Recruiter of the Year will be presented with the NIKE GOLF grand prize:

A private 18-hole round of golf with LPGA Tour Player Grace Park presented by NIKE GOLF
A trip including hotel and airfare to play the round
An autographed photo and hat from Grace Park
A NIKE GOLF Package valued at over $400
A complimentary EWGA Premier Level Membership for 2006-2007

KRISTEN UJAZDOWSKI PLAYS "A-ROUND" WITH GRACE PARK

Karen Alesch was unable to take part in playing a round of golf with Grace Park so she graciously gave the honor to Kristen Ujazdowski. So Kristen flew to LA and played golf with Grace Park at the beautiful Braemer Country Club.

Here is her story...

The sun was bright and happy, throwing 82 degree warmth on our faces. When Grace Park arrived, the shocked members at the Breamar Country Club in Tarzana California gathered in small groups to ask for autographs. While she made her way over to us, I had asked head Pro, Brad Tyson how often they get special pros like her playing at their course. He said they have lots of movie stars but very few pros. This was obviously an honorable day for Breamar as well. Brad proved that by spoiling me with a complimentary practice round, eats and beverages, and a logo ball and jacket as parting gifts. He provided 1st class treatment in every way! Grace has a wonderfully warm smile and welcoming hand shake to accompany her introduction. She asked where I was from and smiled with recognition when “Wisconsin” was my reply. “Ah, yes, I know Wisconsin” she explained that she played and won her first college event in Wisconsin along with a couple others.

TDS PLAYERS CHOICE - INDOOR GOLF RANGE
