Networking Event Recap |
|
Around 20 local professional women met up at
The
Olive Cellar located at 277 W Northland Ave in
Appleton for a free business networking event.
Attendees arrived starting at 5:30 and networked for
the first hour. Since the group was smaller, every
attendee was able to give a quick introduction of
themselves and their profession to the group.
Gordon and Bob from The Olive Cellar were gracious
hosts, giving us an introduction to the benefits of
olive oil and balsalmic vinegars and allowing us to
sample the many options they had available at their
store. Thanks to the Olive Cellar for hosting and
it was great to see so many attendees on a night
filled with possibilities! |

Fox
Hills Weekend Retreat Cold and Cozy! |
If you looked out upon
the weather for the weekend of the Fox Hills Weekend
Retreat and thought you were glad to be home, you
don’t know what you were missing!
Though Saturday might have been a bit cold outside
for some of our golfers, most of our gals stuck it
out without a thought and golfed some great ga mes!
For those who went in a little early there was
plenty of activities to do at Fox Hills. Though I
think cozying up to the fire with sports on TV and
some card games in our own private room was plenty.
Saturday evening we had some great food, Bunko, and
prizes. Many of us filled out the evening in the
whirlpool to wind down.
Sunday was a beautiful day for “Golftoberfest” and
we played some fun games. “Pick-up-Sticks” was the
all time favorite and many of our level 5 golfers
came in with very few clubs left!
Needless to say, we were pampered and well taken
care of by the Fox Hills Resort. There was no doubt
that all who attended would return to Fox Hills for
another venture!

the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event
chair at least 5 days before the event date and the
registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15%
cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay
cancels the event, you will be notified and a full
